Get BNB and Binance-Peg Filecoin

You will need the following two types of tokens in order to stake and earn on SOFIL platform

1. BNB as gas fee to complete on-chain transactions (BNB is the native token of BNB Smart Chain)

2. Binance-Peg Filecoin (FIL) as the staking amount to create staking contract

Please make sure you selected the right network that SOFIL supported when you purchase or swap tokens on MetaMask. SOFIL currently support BNB Smart Chain.

You'll need BNB to perform on-chain swap on MetaMask, we recommend you to purchase BNB as a starting point if you do not ever hold any cryptos.

1. Purchase or get BNB on MetaMask

As you shall have the MetaMask wallet setup properly, you can directly purchase BNB by card payment on MetaMask.

2. Get Binance-Peg Filecoin on MetaMask

You cannot directly purchase Binance-Peg Filecoin on MetaMask. You can first purchase BNB or other cryptos (such as USDT on BNB Smart Chain) on MetaMask by card payment, and after that swap from the purchased tokens to Binance-Peg Filecoin.

If you already have other tokens on BNB Smart Chain in your MetaMask wallet, you can also directly swap from the tokens to Binance-Peg Filecoin on MetaMask.
